About me
Early Childhood Assistant Teacher

Kunita has a passion for supporting children as they grow, learn, and develop into confident, independent individuals. Her background as a pediatric occupational therapist has given her a strong understanding of child development, sensory needs, motor development, and the importance of meeting each child where they are.

Her experience includes working with children in both clinical and educational settings, as well as caring for children through the early elementary years in the United States. These experiences have strengthened her appreciation for the unique ways children learn, communicate, and engage with the world around them.

Kunita enjoys carefully observing children, recognizing their individual strengths and needs, and creating opportunities for them to learn through meaningful, hands-on experiences. She is especially drawn to the Montessori approach because it encourages children to explore, make choices, practice practical life skills, and develop independence at their own pace.

In the classroom, Kunita looks forward to creating a warm, respectful, and supportive environment where children feel capable, valued, and encouraged to try new things. Her goal is to help each child build confidence, strengthen essential skills, and develop a lasting curiosity and love of learning.
