Creepy Crawlies in the Garden

This summer, Chestnut summer school students will learn interesting facts about the insects, arachnids and annelids that crawl and fly through our gardens.  Each session will introduce students to a new topic through the use of hands-on materials such as specimens, puzzles, art, songs and observation.

Along with traditional Montessori materials, students will engage in our rich, natural environment for outdoor activities as often as the weather permits.  This includes picnicking in the play-yard for lunch each day, sprinkler and water play, gardening and nature exploration.

Our Summer Program begins Monday June 20th, 2022 and ends Friday August 26th, 2022.
